A Fall Fashion show on October 9 at Martin’s Westminster raised money for the Friends of the Village auxiliary of Carroll Lutheran Village

22 restaurants provided fare for A Culinary Experience, held October 10 at Martin’s Westminster, benefitting the Rape Crisis Intervention Service.

Hundreds gathered at The Greene Turtle in Westminster to watch Starry Night Bakery battle it out on the Food Network's Cupcake Wars.

More than 175 baked goods, some going for $1,100 apiece, were auctioned off at the Carroll County 4-H Fair's annual Cake Auction on August 3. Proceeds went to the next annual 4-H Fair.

The Historical Society attracts 150 people to it's "Sunset Soiree".

The Taste of Carroll moved from Antrim 1844 to the campus of Gerstell Academy this year. Approximately 525 people attended the 12th annual charity event, which garnered more than $100,000 for Carroll Hospice. The hospice provides care, compassion and support to patients during the end stage of their lives.

The Westminster Woman's Club celebrated its 100th anniversary on May 10 with a luncheon for its members and their guests at Antrim 1844 in Taneytown. The organization was founded in 1911 as the Woman's Literary Club. When the group adopted a constitution and bylaws in 1912, members voted to change its name to The Woman's Club of Westminster.
